What are my legal rights?

I live in Nevada and was contracted to work as the Director of a Summer Camp until 8/14. The contract states that I work 40 hours per week at $15 per hour. Now my boss has told me that I can only work 25 hours per week and has threatened the hours more.

If you have a written contract that states the terms, rights and liabilities of both parties, you may have a valid claim for what is called a "breach" of contract.  It is difficult, however, to state for sure what your recourse is without reading the contract in full.  There may be other "clauses" that need to be read as well that apply here.  You did not state the reason for the reduction in hours.  That may play a part in figuring out your options.

You should take the contract to someone to read on a consultation basis.  They will ask you all the right questions as it relates to your situation and the contract.  You can look here at attorneypages.com for starters.
