How much time do I have to save up and move if my property is going into foreclosure?

My husband is very irresponsible with the mortgage mortgage company gave him a 3 month trial basis to pay on time. We have been arguing and are now at the point of divorce so he refused to pay. I need to know how much time I have to save up and find a place to live for myself and 2 teenagers.

To do a foreclosure by the lander, usually six (6) months as a general rule is required from notice of default to notice ot trustee's sale and actual day of trustee's sale to complete the foreclosure process.

Depending upon your finances, it may be worthwhile to consult with a bankruptcy attorney concerning a filing to stay off the action and work out some possible restructure of the home loan.
