What to do to recover costs associated with a shoddy repair on our the foundation to our house?

We need to find out a way to get compensated for the money we payed a foundation repair company that did poor quality work on our foundation. We paid them a total of about $6250. We spent about $6000 doing cosmetic work to our house after they came and did their thing, which was suppose to stabilize our foundation. Within a few years the cracks in the ceilings came back and ruined the work we had done. We had to hire another foundation repair company that cost $14,550. They uncovered the previous companies shoddy work that we think caused termites for a cost of $3000. We don’t know what type of lawyer to get or how to proceed.

I am so sorry.  Any attorney that does litigation (commercial litigation) work would be able to help you here.  You are going to have to sue them based upon the original contract.  What you need to check here is the statute of limitations for such a suit and when the statute really began to run (probably when you became aware of the problem).  Good luck.
