What to do if we bought a car 5 months ago and we haven’t received the plates for the car?

We have been asking the dealer to give us the plates for at least 3 months. we took the case to the county tax office. They gave him a warning.but he had some friends in the county tax office. He bragged that they wouldn’t do anything to him. our lender USAA insurance will cut the insurance on the car if they don’t have a title. He sold us a car when he did not have the title in hand.

The best way to get the car plate issue resolved is to contact your local department of motor vehicles which over sees car dealerships and make a complaint about the matter. The local department of motor vehicles should get the matter resolved unless you want to retain an attorney to sue the car dealership for breach of contract.
