I am building a fitness website could be trouble over getting video of these exercises, angled so no one shows up in the background, at a local gym?

I am building a fitness website but a lot of the exercises I want to include I don’t have the equipment for or it doesn’t look professional enough. The videos would only be demo clips without any commentary.

You cannot use images of another business's property (e.g. the gym and its equipment) to promote your own business or to sell as products (e.g. as fitness videos) without their permission--if they become aware of this, they could potentially sue you for the profit you make from or due to these videos. You may wish to see if you can get permission--they might allow you to do this, for example, if you credit them in the video or do some cross promoting. If you do get permission, make sure to get it in writing.
