Do we have any chance of getting money that we won because the letter of notification was delivered past the time sensitive delivery date?

Today I won $4,000 in the mail off 2 local car dealership giveaways. The letters were marked as time sensitive to be delivered 9 days ago. However, the letters were’t delivered until 10 days later, 3 days after the given deadline. We called the dealer and he confirmed they are 100% legitimate and we would have gotten the money if the letters were delivered on time.

No, unfortunately you would not be able to get the money. The entity or business sponsoring such a giveaway has the right to make any rules it likes in respect of same, and is not just allowed, but is actively required, to honor those rules scrupulously (so as to avoid charges of deceit, fraud, self-dealing, etc.). If the rules required resonse by a given date and you did not respond by that date for any reason, you would not be eligible.
