To whom can I turn for free information and advice concerning an appeal against denial of UI benefits by NJ DoL?

I am currently appealing to the NJ DoL Board of Review over the denial of UI benefits. Since January I have been proposing a couple of alternative courses of action; renouncing my officership/ownership of my NY S-Corp or unregistering the corporation as a foreign corporation doing business in NJ. I have resisted dissolution of the corporation altogether since if I return to work as an independent IT contractor in the financial sector I would likely need to re-incorporate in order to have a corp-to-corp billing conduit as has been in place for many years. The NY S-Corp has no other function.

Unfortunately, not many places.  Did you at least try to consult with an attorney? It seems you are running out of benefits.  Try to consult with an attorney -- some consultations may even be free or at low cost.  Try www.attorneypages.com and check his or her record at the New York State Bar.  also try the New York State Bar.
