Before this job I was out of work for a year and a half and have exhausted all unemployment benefits. Is there anything I can do?

If you have no job to go back to, then you need to go to your local unemployment office and make a claim for such benefits. In essence you and all the other employees were terminated.

As to your due pay check, I suggest that you consult with a labor attorney in that it is due immediately and/or make a complaint against your former employer with the local department of labor.
