What will happen if the police showed up at my door yesterday morning looking for my ex-boyfriend who is a fugitive?

He is no longer living with me. They told me they are going to arrest me if I don’t help them find him. I have no idea where he is and have no way to find out. What do I do? Can they charge me with harboring a fugitive?

Hello.I suggest you privately talk with an attorney whose role it is to help YOU. Please do turn to an attorney licensed in your state and she/he will be happy to assist you. The sorts of issues you describe tend to hinge on state law. Some attorneys are available seven days for emergency legal needs. Many attorneys will speak initially at no charge. Then, if legal work is performed, some attorneys will provide a reduced fee for financial hardship. Some attorneys may also assist you in a limited scope manner to conserve legal costs. All the best.
