What to do if the lighting is poor in my area and I asked the landlord to repair my porch light but they didn’t so I slipped and fell?
They said they would fix it however they never did. When I came out of my house the other night, I slipped off of the step and fell resulting in a fractured foot. Can I sue for my injuries?

It is quite possible you could have a claim against your landlord for the injuries you suffered, if the step and the light are areas your landlord is responsible for maintaining.
