A creditor can garnish the lesser of: 25% of your disposable earnings, or the amount by which your weekly "disposable earnings" exceed 40 times the state hourly minimum wage (disposable earnings are the wages left after your employer has made deductions required by law; witholding, etc.).

In the even that you have more than 1 garnishment, the total amount that can be taken out of your pay is limited to 25%. However, if you owe child support, student loans or taxes, the amount that can be garnished will be different.
