Termination of Health Insurance due to loss of job.

I lost my job along with my health insurance benefits 5/15/2009. How long may I remain not covered by Health Insurance without being in danger of not being able to be added on to my wife’s Mail Handler’s Insurance? We live in NC. Thanks!

I don't believe there is a time limit on this.  Your wife should find out if she is limited to only adding you during open enrollment, or if she can add you any time.
