What should I do if someone is claiming that I did damage to their car?

They said that I put a dent in it by kicking it. I did no such thing. They have no evidence that I did anything. Said person took my license plate number as I drove away from the situation. I am not from California and leave on a plane tomorrow. Will they flag me at an airport?

The person making this claim that you dented the car has no evidence and therefore has no case against you.  You won't be stopped at the airport.

If you hear from the person's auto insurance carrier, inform that insurance carrier in writing that you did not dent the car and that the person's claim is fraudulent.  Inform the insurance agent that if the agent pursues this false claim, the agent, insurance company and their insured will all be sued for fraud and that you will file a complaint against the insurance agent and insurance company with the state's insurance commissioner.
