Should I seek out a lawyer regarding harassment by my employer?

I’ve have had an anonymous complaint filed with my company against me. I have only been transferred to this store within the last 2 weeks and the store was badly managed for several managers and the staff has been through several very bad managers. When I started putting policies in place, 7 days after starting, a complaint was filed. My company informed me of the complaint and informed me that they were not sure if they were going to keep me employed. After informing my district manager of my extreme distress and being uncomfortable with the situation, I was required to work 20 hours over the weekend with the group of staff that logged the complaint. The next morning, my day off, I was asked to drive 2 hours for a meeting at a random coffee shop location, where the meeting was conducted in my district manager’s car and HR was called to join in. I was then asked to respond to a series of complaints and accusations that they heard from staff. When I categorically denied all complaints, I was told over and over that I had to take ownership and admit to all the complaints. HR asked what would you do if you were in HR? I refused to answer several times and was intimidated and asked several times and force to say I would fire me. At which point the meeting was terminated and I was allowed to leave the car and told to enjoy my day off.

While rather unusual and unprofessional, unless this action in some way violated the terms of an employment contract or union agreement, you have no claim here. The fact is that most work relationships are "at will". This means that a company can set the conditions of employment much as it sees fit (absent some form of legally actionable discrimination).
