I was recently caught shoplifting in Kohls. I am 18 yrs old and i was with my
sister who is 16 yrs old. We stole about 200 worth off clothes. What would my
fine be? and is it best for me to pay the demand? The police was called but never
showed up so we were released

You will receive a letter from the store which will explain everything.
The letter will state the amount of the fine, which will be considerably more than the value of the stolen merchandize.
If you pay the fine by the deadline stated in the letter, that will end the matter.
Failure to pay by the deadline will result in criminal prosecution.
