Sentenced to Federal prison….did appox. 17 years now they want to put g.p.s.monitor on me…whats up with that????

Waiting on Federal Court date to be further sentenced/sanctioned to wear a g.p.s. monitor this was not in sentencing and judgement and committement order…I refused to wear g.p.s. monitor, I did appox.17 years as an ex-felon in possession of one hand gun…now they want to further strip me of the ability to travel without monitoriing…is this justified, and or can I fight this issue, as I already have 60months supervised release…

I assume you have a court appointed lawyer, or have retained one. You should discuss this matter with the lawyer. Plus you haven't really given enough detail about your case for a lawyer to be able to give you a helpful answer. If you are awaiting sentencing, and the judge thinks you are a flight risk, he can probably require you to wear a monitor. http://www.kywp.uscourts.gov/court_comm/cchome.pdf
