What to o about an I-1864 affidavit of support?

My husband income is $16,000 claiming 3 dependent and my co-sponsor income is $20,000 claiming 2 dependents on tax return. Can we combine both income and apply for my mother-in-law who is in Pakistan. Is this a good co-sponsor?

You can try but typically the joint sponsor has to have income and/or assets that are sufficient in and of themselves, without combining.   What about assets?  Does your husband have any that can be used?  Does the joint sponsor?  IS there anyone else you can ask about sponsorship?
