What are a mobile parktenant’s rights regarding raw sewage issues?

I live in a mobile home park. I own the home and rent the lot that it sits on. At least once a week raw sewage flows out of a clean out pipe into my backyard. The maintenance men for the park come and snake out the pipe and put lime all over. I have kids and cannot allow them to play in the yard because I worry about the health risks. What I am wondering is there any way I can sue the park to have my trailer moved to a different location?

If there is raw sewage coming onto your property that you are renting on a regular basis, you need to meet with the property manger and landlord about the situation and the need to get the problem fixed.

Likewise, if the problem continues without any resolution I suggest that you call your local public health department and request an inspection of the property. I suggest that you consult with a landlord tenant attorney in that the continued sewage problem may be a basis for you to end your lease.
