Hello, Many years ago, after my divorce, my parents were put
on the deed of my house with me. They are in their 80s now
and would like to quit their claim so that I am the only one
on the deed. What is the best way of doing this?

A quitclaim deed will release your parents' entire right ,title and interest in the property to you. The quitclaim deed is signed in the presence of a notary.
The quitclaim deed becomes effective upon being recorded (filed with the County Recorder's office).
