Probate out of state

My husband pasted in 2011. We live in Ohio. My husband had a daughter by his
first wife who lived in New Orleans, now deceased. Her name due to probate is still
on the house I live in. I need to know how I can get her name off the deed. She has
children but I don’t know their names, ages, or whereabouts. What do I do?

I am so sorry for your loss.  If you step-daughter is a legal owner of half the property and it did not pass to you with "rights of survivorship" when she passed then half that house still belongs to her or her estate.  You are going to need a lawyer here.  Please seek help.
