I am a lawyer in CT and practice in this area of the law. Just becasue you paid a lawyer a fee does not mean that the board granted the applcatin. Did you get confirmation from the lawyer that the charges were expunged? Did the lawyer put it in writing? The lawyer should not have told you the charges were expunged if they were not. I suggest calling the lawyer to find out what happened.
