On my website, can I post a picture of an original branded product next to my product so customers could see for comparison?

I am making fashion products that look almost identical to original branded products. I am not copying their logos and I am specifically mentioning on my website that my products are copies and not authorized by the original manufacturer. Can I post a picture of their product next to mine?

Normally, yes, you may use a brand as simple comparison. However, you have also admitted that you are stealing the original designer’s designs, which you cannot do.

Speak with a local intellectual property attorney before you start doing any of this.
