North Carolina 90-96 marijuana possession

I got a 90-96 deferment on marijuana possession in North Carolina. I will do **** ed classes and **** testing for 6 months and they’ll dismiss the charges. If a background check is run before the dismissal will the charges show up?

Quite possibly.  But even after the charges are dismissed your arrest will still be on your record.  After your off deferment you should look in to having your record "expunged" (cleared of the arrest).

In North Carolina, a person who has not been previously convicted of misdemeanor marijuana possession or)possession of drug paraphernalia in violation of N.C.G.S. 90-113.21, may apply to the court, not sooner than 12 months after their conviction, for an order canceling the judgment of conviction and expunging all of the records of the individual's arrest, indictment, or information trail and conviction.
