i have to get this monkey off my back i ran from calif seven years ago and never got sentenced.i have been made aware by the police here in colorado its not extraditable.I want to know what are my options in this situation is there a chnce it will go away?or can i go about it without having to do any jail time i have my life togethe rnow and canot afford to go away for a yaer or whatever they would do to me.

Have you thought of hiring a California lawyer, who does criminal defense work in the county where the warrant is outstanding, and asking his or her assistance in figuring this out?
I'm not sure why the warrant would not be extraditable, or why a series of new warrants would not be outstanding.
If you were out on bond, and had been convicted and were awaiting sentence, fleeing the jurisdiction to avoid prosecution is a new California crime and also a Federal crime. The danger is one day you'll be pulled over for speeding and the officers will run a record check and all of a sudden the cuffs will be slapped on and you'll be denied bail and delivered to California in response to Governor Schwarzenegger's request.
If you have a clean record for the past 7 years, and can give demonstrable assurance you've straightened out and are a productive member of society, a lawyer who has a good relationship with a reasonable prosecutor often can convince the prosecutor to come up with something you'd be able to live with, such as a suspended sentence, or plea to a lesser offense, etc.
But do not try this on your own as the prosecutor may not be reasonable, you may have enemies in the police department, that judge may be more than angry, and anyone who is not a lawyer may be required to divulge your whereabouts and if he refuses, then he goes to jail himself, etc.
