Where do I file for divorce if my husband and I just moved out of state 4 weeks ago?

My soon-to-be ex-husband and I have lived in one state for virtually our whole marriage, although we just moved to another state 4 weeks ago. Now I am moving back and we are getting divorced. It will be a simplified dissolution as we have no kids and no property to separate.

You will need to file in the state in which either you or your husband are residents of. Since you only moved 4 weeks ago, then you are both still residents of the state that you moved from (i.e. the state that you are moving back to).
