Can I keep my son’s father from seeing my son due to drug issues?
My son’s father has visitation every Wed. from 5-9 and 1 over night a week. However, he is heavily addicted to pain pills. Supposedly no one on the streets will supply him any longer since he owes them so much money. He cleans a doctor’s’ office once a week for extra cash. He stole a blank prescription pad, filled out the script, forged the docto’rs signature and brought it to the pharmacy in an attempt to get pills. The pharmacy then notified the police and he was later arrested. He is currently waiting to go to court. I’m not letting him see his son until the issue gets resolved and we go back to child custody court. Legally can I do this? I fear when my son is in his fathers care and am only trying to protect him.
