What to do if my son was used by another student to distribute drugs unknowingly in the form of brownies?

He went straight to the principal and admitted this. Then the principal suspended him for 2 months (the remaining amount of school because he briefly had possession of drugs. Should I contact a lawyer?

Hello.  Certainly I recommend that you contact a private attorney for confidential legal counsel at this time.  The situation you describe is of a very serious nature and involves a multitude of various forms of potential liability, criminal and civil in nature. You also raise issues of a type of law known as 'School Law'.  I recommend that you telephone several attorneys in choosing, because it is important that you feel comfortable with the attorney, as well as a high level of trust. I urge that you do not delay, because one certainly may lose certain rights by failing to act promptly, and, in the situation you describe, multiple time deadlines likely are relevant.  All the best to you and your family.
