Your son can absolutely find himself in a situation wherein he would be arrested due to his parole violation and further, he could send multiple enhancements in new sentencing structure but also to handle the new charges stemming from the parole violation. He needs a criminal defense counsel now to handle any bond issues for both violations and to possibly negotiate these charges down.
