If my sister’s dog attacked my daughter and she still has the dog, can I force her to put the dog down?

The attack happened in a county where if a dog attacks it is put down. However, since the dog and owner did not live there the dog was not killed.

You can request that your sister put the dog down that attacked your daughter but you cannot per se force her to do so. However, you can make a complaint to the local health department where you live and depending upon its investigation this and other governmental entities could require that your sister put her dog down due to being dangerous to people.
