What to do if my sister has an arraignment next week but she will not make it?

My sister is a juvenile. The court date is 200+ miles from our home and we won’t be able to make it there until the following week. I called the judge’s assistant to reschedule but she said that arraignments can’t be rescheduled. I know when she misses her court date that an arrest warrant will be issued. She was arrested for battery. What should our next step be since she will miss the court date?

Your parents need to hire an attorey for your sistaer as soon as they can here because she can be arrested any time if she does not appear for the arraignment.  Then the attorney can smooth the way for her to turn her self in on the warrant.  Good luck.
