What to do if my sister is the executor of my mom’s estate and originally she was not going to take a commission but now she is?
In my mom’s Will it specifically states that I am to get $100,000 separate from all the assets. Can she take commission on my $100,000?

The executor has the right to take a commision as allowed by statute in our state , generally a percentage of the gross estate, which includes any beneficiaries' share. The percentage is generally the same amount as allowed the attorney by the probate code.
