What to do if my property was reassesed as a rental but ut is not rental?

It is occupied by myslef and partner. I am having an awful time getting them to realize their mistake. I have documentation from their office proving it is my primary residence.

I suggest that the best way to resolve the matter that you have written about is to go down to your county property tax assessor and discuss the situation with him or her that the parcel is owner occupied and not a rental. Fill out any need forms to get the assessment what it should be.
