My niece was charged with aggravated assualt w/ deadly weapon in 2005 , She has not been to court yet . Whats the statues of limitations on this ?

Her father signed a do not prosecute . She was a child of family violence for years. Her father had prior assualt as well as conitnues to build his record with more assualts .
