Whether or not you landlord can evict you from your rental depends upon whether or not he is entitled to reside there with you under the presumed written lease that you have. As such, assuming that you have a written lease for your rental, you need to carefully read it in that its terms and conditions control the obligations owed to you by the landlord and vice versa absent conflicting state law.

You need to read all provisions in your written agreement concerning limitations as to who can reside in the rental during the term of your lease. If there is no limitations as to who the occupants can be or the number of occupants, then your daughter's father's residence in the rental would not appear to be a violation of the lease warranting your eviction.

Good question.
