I work for the same person who I rent my house from. He just gave me a notice that he is selling the house and that I have 3 months to leave. I have to save up for a down payment on a new place and cannot afford my rent. Can I lose my job if I violate the rental agreement?

Do you have an employment contract or union/collective bargaining agreement that prohibits this action? Would this treatemnt constitute some form of legally actionable discrimination? If not, then you are an "at will" worker, which means that you can be dismissed from your job for any reason or no reason at all.
