If my husband is paying child support faithfully, how do we know the money is being used for the child?
It is take out of every check and us made sure to make it to the ex. At the time the support was determined my husband was living alone and could afford his payments; now he is married and we have a 7 month old. We can no longer afford to make such large payments. Is there a way to adjust? Also, my husband unfortunately has no right to the little girl but is there anyway to hold the payments until the mother allows more visitation?

I suggest that your husband consult with a family law attorney to see what can be done to possibly modify the child support payments he is making on a monthly basis given changed circumstances.
As far as knowing that the child support payments are being used for the child you have no way of ascertaining such unless there is an order issued by the court for a monthly accounting.
