If you only have liability insurance (and not comprehensive or collision insurance) then the insurance company will not pay for repairs to the vehicle. Liability coverage is insurance that covers damage you cause to other people (outside of your car) and their property.  Most states have minimum limits of liability coverage that you must have in order to drive your car.

The damage here is to your own vehicles.  From what I understand from what you have written your policy does not cover them.
