It sounds like you could have a case. My biggest concern would be what did they remove, if not your husband's gallbladder?  Further, I'm sure you paid for this procedure. Thus, if you didn't actually receive the procedure then you should not have to pay for it. I would highly recommend consulting with an attorney.
