Yes, she can: if you pay no rent or any kind of money, you are not tenants or subtenants--you are just guests of hers. A person with lawful possession of a home, such as a tenant (like your girlfriend's mother) can require guests to leave at any time, on no prior notice. You have no legal right to stay there once she no longer wants you there.
