What to do if my friend’s ex-husband hired someone to remove a camper from my property>
He did not have permission to be on my property, nor did he ask for permission. He denies a verbal agreement and payment made for the camper made 4 years ago, and claims the trailer belongs to him. In any case, there was a no trespassing sign posted, and he was not given permission to enter my land. I would like to have him arrested for theft, but it will take some time to prove ownership of the camper. In the mean time, I would like to have him arrested for trespassing. Is that a possibility? I have written documentation that he did this.

You can certainly contact to the police and let them know that he was trespassing. You do not control whether charges are ultimately filed--that's up to the authorities. But you can report the crime and make it clear to them that there were no extenuating circumstances.
