My fiance was stalked in a store, then robbed and brutally beaten after she left the store. Is the store liable in any way?

She was stalked in rite aid store
by a young black male. He then
followed her out and robbed and
brutally beat her. Is the store

The store is liable for negligence for not having adequate security.  Negligence is the failure to exercise due care (that degree of care that a reasonable store would have exercised under the same or similar circumstances to prevent foreseeable harm).
The store is liable based on premises liability  because your fiancee was injured on the premises.
