I need to know if legally my ex is allowed to send personal information to my
employer that is unrelated to my job just to get revenge on me.

Yes, any person may send any information in their possession (including personal information) to any person (including their ex's employer) for any purpose, including to embarass them or for revenge. Person A cannot control what person B says or provides/sends to person C; person C may disclose what they know, even if inappropriate.
