If my ex-boyfriend and I purchased a timeshare together but he has never paid towards it, do I have any way to get reimbursed by him?

We purchased the timeshare 4 years ago (both names on mortgage). I made all payments toward the mortgage. We broke up in early over 2 years ago and since then I have continued to make all payments toward the mortgage and annual dues/fees. I actually took out a personal loan (only my name on loan)to pay off the mortgage, and decrease the interest payment. My ex agrees that he is responsible for paying but I have not yet seen one penny. I do not want to chase him forever, so just wondering if there are any legal options?

Yes, you can sue him for the money that you paid on his behalf and to satisfy his obligation.  Listen, if they had foreclosed on the time share then they would have come after not only you but him as well for the money left owing on the mortgage.  So you saved him from that whole scene.  You may also be able to sue him for the interest on the personal loan here but one would need to review the documents involved and the law (it was your choice to take out the loan and pay off the mortgage; really your could have continued to just pay it).  Seek legal help here. You need to get his name off the timeshare as well.  Good luck to you.
