I am so sorry for your situation.  Your daughter is a minor and she is your legal obligation to support and care for until she is 18 years old.  I do not know where you got the age of 17 and why you think that the police would stop picking her up at that point in time.  They would continue to try and find her or pick her up and bring her home until 18 but they could consider her a missing person at any age and continue to look for her.  I truly hope that she is safe and that she is brought back to you unharmed.  And I hope that she gets the help that she needs so that she feels safe at home and does not feel the need to leave again.  Good luck.
