It all depends on what the trust document says. The trust may be able to pay for some of your daughter's expenses if the trust says that distributions can be made for her health, maintenance, or support. Furthermore, the trust document might say the trustee can use their discretion about whether or not to grant even this kind of distribution. There is even a possibility that the trust will allow no distributions at all until she is 18. So, you can only answer this question by looking at the terms of the trust.
