I was wondering what steps should I take to make sure I’m given my rights to them and what should I do about her not following the order?

If your children's mother is not following the court ordered custody agreement, you will need to contact an attorney to have a Motion for Enforcement/Contempt filed. You should document every time your children's mother failed to follow the court order. For instance, if your children's mother refuses to give the children to you for your visitation, then you should call the police to have them come out and do a report. Make sure to get a copy of the police report. You should bring all documentation with you to your consult with the attorney.
