If my children’s father got killed in a car accident 4 years ago, how do I access their settlement money?

About 2 years ago they received a settlement from the insurance company. I am under the impression that if the money is used for their needs we can use some. How do I go about doing this? I’m pretty sure I need to OK it with a judge.

Hello. Presumably the money is being held in trust. You should confer with a private attorney for help in this matter.

Some attorneys, myself included, will confer for free, at no charge. Then, if legal work is performed, some attorneys, myself included, will provide a reduced fee for need. All the best
