What can I do if my car was stolen and totaled and the insurance company wants some information that I do not have access to?

My insurance company wants personal information. I was able to provide some but I’m not able to provide bank statements and phone recorded because it is not in my name and I do not have permission to have them. My insurance agent said that if she doesn’t have them then she has to close the claim. Is there anything I can do to keep this from happening?

Probably not: the insurance company has the right to do a certain amount of investigation and due diligence when there are claims (especially theft claims, which are the most common ones to be fraudulent or criminal, as in person A conspiring with person B to have the car stolen and submit a claim) and if the insured does not cooperate with them, the insurer has the right to deny the claim.
