If my brother passed away almost 2 years ago and my mother is in his Will, how long does she have to wait to receive her money?
The lawyer office keeps saying in 2 or 3 months everytime she calls.

I am so sorry for your loss and for the situation. That seems like a very long time to be waiting if the Will was entered in to Probate within a reasonable time after your brother's death. Unless his estate is a complicated one. I would go down to the Probate Court where the Will has been filed and take a look at the status. It is a public record. If nothing is happeneing you can file a Petition for an Interim accounting and partial distribution if possible. Good luck.
