If my boyfriend married in another country, is it valid here in the U. S.?

My boyfriend and I would like to get married. However, he’s married in another country and his ex-wife has decided that she does not want to get divorced due to her jealousy.

Yes, a foreign marriage is recognized in the U.S. Accordingly, so long as your boyfriend's marriage was legal in the counrty in which it took place, then it is legal here. Accordingly, he cannot legally re-marry until he is divorced from his wife. At this point, he needs to directly contact a divorce attorney to discuss the methods by which he can end his marriage without his wife's consent, as it may be possible to do so.
